重新语境化与企业文化的传播——以世界五百强企业的网页翻译为例

Recontextualization and the Transmission of Enterprise Culture: A Case Study on the Translation of the Websites of Fortune Global 500

  • 摘要: 随着全球一体化进程的推进,世界各地的企业陆续开始开拓海外市场,并重视企业文化的对外传播。这一过程涉及到不同语境,因此企业网页的翻译必然与话语的重新语境化密切相关。本文以三十家世界五百强企业的中英文网页为例,分析了其文化传播中涉及的重新语境化及改适转换现象,总结了其中网页翻译的重新语境化原则,并揭示了重新语境化在企业文化传播中的重要作用,以期深化重新语境化在企业网页翻译中的应用,更好地推进企业文化对外传播的进程。

     

    Abstract: In the process of globalization, enterprises all over the world have started to expand into overseas markets, and attach more importance to the transmission of enterprise culture, in which different contexts are involved.Therefore, recontextualization is closely connected to websites translation.In view of this, the present paper, taking 30 enterprises from Fortune Global 500 as examples, analyzes the application of recontextualization and transformation in their cultural transmission.In order to reveal the significance of recontextualization, it also summarizes the principles of recontextualization in the transmission of enterprise culture.It is hoped that this paper can deepen the application of recontextualization in the translation of enterprise websites, and thereby facilitate the transmission of enterprise culture.
