An Analysis of the Philosophical Implications of Berman's Translation Ethics

  • 摘要: 法国翻译理论家安托万·贝尔曼被誉为当代翻译伦理研究的“奠基人”,其伦理思想基于对翻译中多重本质关系的反思与呈现,具有显著的思辨色彩和深厚的哲学意蕴。本文以“他者”“异”“异质性”“经验”等贝尔曼翻译伦理思想的核心概念为线索,对其溯明来源,廓清定义,探析其丰富的哲学蕴含,并进一步明确哲学路径之于翻译伦理话语建设的积极意义。

     

    Abstract: The French translation theorist Antoine Berman is hailed as the "founder" of contemporary translation ethics studies.His thoughts on ethics, deriving from his reflection and presentation of multiple essential relationships in translation, manifest profound speculative and philosophical significance.By tracing the sources of Berman's core concepts in translation ethics such as "Other", "foreign", "foreignness" and "experience", this article attempts to make clearer of their definitions and reveal their rich philosophical implications.This study is intended to emphasize the significance of philosophical approach to the construction of translation ethical discourse.
