Construction Morphology and Its Enlightenment on the Study of Chinese Vocabulary

Construction Morphology (CM) is the latest morphology theory.With the help of the theoretical framework of Construction Grammar, CM introduces the concept of construction into morphology theory and aims to analyze words and sentences under a unified framework.Unlike traditional morphology theory, which mainly focuses on word formation and morphological changes, CM, in all directions, covers the analysis of word's phonology, morphology and semantics.It attempts a unified analysis model of words' sound, form and meaning through the schema of Construction Grammar.The basic theory of Construction Morphology is introduced in this article to shed new light on the study of Chinese vocabulary.
