Abstract:
Literary pragmatics is a study that applies pragmatics theories to the analysis and interpretation of literary discourses, and it is an academic growth point in the interdisciplinary research of pragmatics. In view of the loose theoretical system of current literary pragmatics research, and the fact that the related concepts, principles and methods have not yet formed a clear theoretical framework, this study systematically combs through the current research status of literary pragmatics both at home and abroad. Based on the evaluation of the development in this field, this paper analyzes three characteristics of literary discourses, namely, multiplicity of participants, multi-dimensionality of interaction, and multi-facetedness of analysis. It also conducts a specific analysis of the three interactive perspectives of the analyst, the author and the reader, constructs a theoretical framework of literary pragmatics, and explores the possibilities of future development in this field, pointing out that the integrated development of multiple disciplines is the future direction of literary pragmatics.
