外国文学知识体系创新与中国视域下的外国文学教材建设

Innovating Knowledge System in Foreign Literature Studies and Constructing Foreign Literature Textbooks from the Chinese Perspective

  • 摘要: 外国文学是高校重要的人文学科,“外国文学”与“世界文学”存在重要差异,外国文学教学在高校外语教育中起到奠基石作用。本文从外国文学自主知识体系建构与高素质外语人才培养体系创新的角度探讨外国文学原创性教材建设,针对外国文学研究中存在的西方中心主义倾向,强调建构中国特色外国文学自主知识体系要坚持以马克思主义为指导,增强中国文化主体性。“视域”是指领会或理解的构架,是决定“我们怎么看世界”“我们如何阐释世界”的视角和立场。本文立足于“视”,阐述了中国视域下的外国文学教材的内容,包括以全球视野重构外国文学历史发展框架,以批判的眼光审视和重新发现作家作品,观照中外文学文化交流,检视中国学者外国文学研究的原创性学术思想。

     

    Abstract: Foreign literature is an important humanities discipline in universities. There are significant differences between “foreign literature” and “world literature,” and the teaching of foreign literature plays a foundational role in tertiary foreign language education in China. From the perspectives of constructing an independent knowledge system for foreign literature and innovating the cultivation system for high-caliber foreign language talents, this paper explores the development of original teaching materials for foreign literature. Addressing the tendency of Eurocentrism in foreign literature studies, it emphasizes that the construction of an independent knowledge system for foreign literature with Chinese characteristics should adhere to Marxism as its guiding principle and strengthen the subjectivity of Chinese culture. The term “perspective” refers to the framework for comprehension or understanding, representing the point of view and stance that determine “how we view the world” and “how we interpret the world.” Based on the concept of “viewing,” this paper discusses the content of foreign literature teaching materials from the Chinese perspective, which consist of reconstructing the historical development framework of foreign literature from a global vision, critically examining and rediscovering writers and their works, observing Sino-foreign literary and cultural exchanges, and scrutinizing Chinese scholars’ original contribution to foreign literature studies.
